Privacy policy

This policy explains what we do with your personal data when you visit madenew.club or buy from us. Last updated 11 August 2026.

What we collect, and why

When you place an order
Name, email, delivery and billing address, phone number, and what you bought. We need this to take payment, ship the parcel, handle returns and issue an invoice. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legal obligation to keep tax records.

When you pay
Payments run through Shopify Payments. If you choose Klarna, Klarna handles it. We never see or store your full card number. Legal basis: performing our contract.

When you give us your email for drop announcements
Just your email address. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it from the link in any email we send, and we will stop.

When you use the size finder
Your height and weight stay in your browser. They are not sent to us, not stored on our servers, and not attached to your name.

If you then buy, we attach three things to the order: the size we recommended, whether you changed it, and which answer drove the recommendation. That is all. We use it to find out where our sizing is wrong. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in reducing returns. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

When you email us
Whatever you write and your email address, kept for as long as we need to resolve the matter. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.

Cookies

Some cookies are strictly necessary. They keep your cart working, keep you logged in and keep checkout secure. These are set without consent because the site cannot function without them.

Any cookie used for analytics or marketing is set only after you agree through the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your mind at any time through the same banner.

Who else sees your data

We keep this list short on purpose. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

• Shopify. Runs our store, hosting, checkout and order records.
• Shopify Payments. Processes card payments.
• Klarna. Only if you choose it at checkout. Klarna decides on its own how it uses your data and runs its own credit checks, so it acts as its own controller. Read Klarna's privacy notice before using it.
• Poste Italiane. Gets your name, address and phone number so the parcel can reach you.
• Vify Order Printer. An app installed on our store, used to generate invoice and refund documents.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Data leaving the EU

Shopify is based in Canada and processes data in Canada and the United States. Canada has an EU adequacy decision. Transfers to the United States are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses in Shopify's data processing agreement.

How long we keep it

• Orders and invoices: 10 years. Required by Italian law, Art. 2220 Codice Civile.
• Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe.
• Support emails: up to 2 years after the matter is closed.
• Size finder answers: never held by us at all.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, hand it over in a portable format, or stop processing it. You can withdraw consent at any time, and doing so does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

If we get it wrong, you can complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Roma, www.garante.privacy.it. You can also complain to the authority in your own EU country.

Children

This store is not aimed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date at the top. Material changes are announced by email to subscribers.
